About me

This page is a work in progress, but here are some quick things you should know about me:

I love languages, and want to learn more (I have a degree in Danish language, literature and culture)

I used to be a project manager, language teacher, mentor and for the past 2 years I’ve used many of the skills practiced in those fields to be a successful user researcher

I was born and raised in Montenegro, but have since lived in Serbia (8 years), Iowa, USA (1 year), Denmark (6 months), and finally Lisbon 1 year and counting! (will stay as long as Lisbon will have me). I don’t always stick around though – I also love traveling far and near 🙈⛰️🌊🌇

I became a User Researcher after I’d been called empathetic one too many times and have found my place in the field after I’d learned it’s not all about empathy, but also about psychology, design thinking, operations, and a whole lot more I’ve learned since working at Better Collective

I love poetry, dogs (I have one), lizards, horses, ants, turtles, snails, some spiders, butterflies, wasps and, and taking care of plants

I have three siblings!

I’m currently researching master’s degrees in cognitive psychology and learning more about the design part of UX (if I had another 3 hours extra in my day I would maybe also get back to crocheting 😔)

Would you like to work on something cool together?
